Patience is a virtue.
We have had many people comment on how we haven’t updated our blog lately and I am really sorry about that. We just haven’t had much to share lately. But I decided to try and update this anyway. In our last post, we mentioned that Rob got a job at American Eagle but we have more news on that matter. After 3 days of working there, Rob realized that the pay, the drive, and the actually job wasn’t worth it for him. So, now he is working at Starbucks in Nora. Which he seems to really be enjoying, so stop by sometime and see him if you are in the area. Rob is also done with school for the year and has been enjoying sleeping in when he can and trying new recipes. Sometimes I think he should have gone to culinary school:0). I, Michelle, have been working still at the law firm and trying to keep myself occupied in the evening with crocheting a baby blanket. We have also bought new bicycles to ride in the evenings and weekends, it gives us something to do together and maybe even help us get in shape. Whew, after the first ride (which I haven’t ridden a bike in years) my legs were so sore, I wasn’t excited about getting back on.
I have noticed that my patience is running out, I know we haven’t been in the actual process of adoption for very long, but we have been trying to have a family for the last 3 years. The other day I was passing a church and if any of you have ever noticed, most church have some pretty cheesy sayings on their signs, but this church I was passing had a bible verse on it and it was exactly what I needed.
Psalms 27:14
Wait for the LORD;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the LORD.
So, this is going to be what I turn to when I start feeling my patience running out. Remember us in your prayers as we remain strong and wait for the Lord.
