Waiting patiently
Well, since we don’t have any baby update for you, we thought we update you on the other things going on in our lives. Rob has been spending the last few months playing bass guitar for his school’s (Warren) show choirs. This last Saturday was their state finals and the choirs did really well. The all girls choir, Highlights, placed 11th and the mix choir, Connection, placed 4th in the state. Rob was very excited on how well they did and displayed it by doing a dance for the kids and hurting his wrist
. I keep trying to remind him that he isn’t 17 anymore. Well, because Rob has been playing at these contest every Saturday from around 6 in the morning until 1 the next morning. I have been spending some time with our neices, family, and friends. Mackenzie, our oldest neice, was playing in a winter basketball league at their church. She has really improved since last year. Last year she was afraid to shoot and this year we can’t get her to stop.
Rob and I are planning our 5 year aniversary this summer and we, as of now, are planning to go to Chicago and see a show or game and then just enjoy seeing the city. It’s hard to believe we have been married for 5 years, it just seems like yesterday was when we met (well, not all the time). We celebrated Rob’s birthday last night by going out with his mom to see Westside Story at Beef & Boards. It was really fun but I always forget what a sad story it is. Well, our scrapbook was turned in on Tuesday last week, all of our references are in, and now we just wait. I only wish we knew how long it is going to be but it is all in God’s hands. Thank you all for your prayers and comments. Keep them coming, they bring us hope and excitment on our long wait.
