Interview Update and Nursery Pictures

Published by doylesadoption at 5:49 pm under Adoption Edit This

Today we had our interview with the social worker.  It seemed to go really well.  We met her at the Starbucks around 9:35, and we left around 1:30.  She said 4 hours, but we didn’t realize that she really meant 4 hours!  The three of us talked for a while, and then she talked to Michelle by herself, and then me by myself.   After it was all over, she told us that things look good for the start of our process.  There really is no way to estimate how long the process will take, but she seemed to think things could potentially move quickly.  Of course, that is just a guess, but it’s nice to think that we are well on our way!

Our last blog mentioned that we got the nursery painted, but now we have a few pictures so you can actually see it.  Enjoy!
